Ad Library Downloader is a browser extension that helps you save ad creatives and export ad details from Meta’s public Facebook Ad Library. Your privacy is simple: everything happens on your own device.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us or any third party. The extension makes no network requests of its own. There are no servers that receive your data, and no analytics, advertising or tracking code.

Where it runs

The extension runs only on the Facebook Ad Library (facebook.com/ads/library). It reads the ad information already shown on that public page so it can add download buttons and build your CSV export. It does not run on any other website and does not monitor your browsing.

What is stored on your device

Only a short local list of your recent downloads and your on-page selection, kept in the browser’s local storage on your device. It never leaves your computer and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Downloads and exports

When you download a creative or export a CSV, the file is saved directly to your computer through the browser’s download manager. The data comes from the public Ad Library page you are viewing.

Your responsibility

The Facebook Ad Library is Meta’s public ad-transparency tool. Use this extension for legitimate ad research, and only use ad creatives in accordance with applicable terms and copyright. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
